This Privacy Policy describes how Vidyaa ("Company," "We," "Us," or "Our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our Service, and explains your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

This Policy applies across all Vidyaa Products, including Vidyaa AI (vidyaa.com) and English Mastery by Vidyaa (learn.vidyaa.com), and any other current or future Vidyaa Products (collectively, the "Service").

We use your Personal Data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Assessment Data means the responses, scores, recordings, and reports generated through use of English Mastery by Vidyaa, including your EIQ Score and exam-readiness analytics.

Cookies are small files placed on your computer, mobile device, or other device by a website, containing details of your browsing history on that website, among other uses.

Country refers to: United States of America.

Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, cellphone, or digital tablet.

Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.

Products means the individual applications and websites offered by the Company, including Vidyaa AI and English Mastery by Vidyaa.

Service refers collectively to the Products, including the Websites located at vidyaa.com and learn.vidyaa.com.

When you use English Mastery by Vidyaa, we additionally collect:

Your responses to assessment questions, exercises, and prompts

Audio or text submissions used to evaluate reading, vocabulary, reasoning, or communication skills (where the assessment includes spoken or written response components)

Your computed EIQ Score, sub-scores, and exam-readiness analytics

Your progress, retake history, and report-sharing activity

We use Assessment Data to generate your scores and reports, to improve our scoring models, and to personalize your learning recommendations. We do not sell Assessment Data to third parties.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. This may include your device's IP address, browser type and version, the pages of our Service you visit, the time and date of your visit, time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

When you access the Service through a mobile device, we may also collect the type of mobile device, a unique device ID, mobile IP address, mobile operating system, mobile browser type, and other diagnostic data.

Information from Third-Party Social Media Services

The Company allows you to register and log in to the Service through the following Third-Party Social Media Services:

To manage your Account, including a single account that may be used to access multiple Vidyaa Products.

For the performance of a contract, including the purchase, delivery, and support of products or services you have purchased.

To contact you by email, phone, SMS, or push notification regarding updates, security notices, or service-related communications.

To provide you with news, offers, and information about Vidyaa Products similar to those you have used or enquired about, unless you opt out.

To manage your requests to us, including support and refund requests.

For business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.

For other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, evaluating marketing effectiveness, and improving the Service, including our assessment and scoring models.

We may share your personal information in the following situations:

With Service Providers, to host, analyze, process payments for, or support the Service.

For business transfers, in connection with a merger, sale, financing, or acquisition.

With Affiliates, who will be required to honor this Privacy Policy.

With business partners, to offer you certain products, services, or promotions.

We do not sell your Personal Data, including Assessment Data, to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company retains Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, including compliance with legal obligations, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements.

Assessment Data, including EIQ Scores and reports, is retained for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide historical score comparisons and progress tracking, unless you request earlier deletion.

Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except where needed for security, functionality improvement, or legal compliance.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information may be processed at the Company's operating offices and any other locations where parties involved in processing are based, which may be outside your state, province, country, or jurisdiction. Your consent to this Policy, followed by your submission of information, represents your agreement to such transfer.

The Company will take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy, and will not transfer Personal Data to an organization or country without adequate controls in place.

Delete Your Personal Data

You have the right to delete, or request that we assist in deleting, the Personal Data we have collected about you, including Assessment Data generated through English Mastery by Vidyaa.

You may update, amend, or delete your information by signing in to your Account and using the relevant settings, or by contacting us directly. Note that we may need to retain certain information where we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Business Transactions. If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Law Enforcement. The Company may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

Children's Privacy

Our Service, including English Mastery by Vidyaa, is not directed to anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 13. Where a Product is used by students under 18 in an educational context (for example, through a school or guardian-supervised account), we rely on the consent of a parent, guardian, or educational institution as appropriate under applicable law.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Data without appropriate consent, please contact us, and we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
