Vidyaa · Learning technology
Vibe First. Learn Faster.
When a topic gets you curious, you want to figure it out. Vidyaa builds learning technology around that appetite: helping you get into a subject, grasp ideas faster and remember what you learn. We call that readiness and hunger for more the Vibe State.
Hungry for more.
You vibe first. Then you learn the song.
Think about a song you have had on repeat. You catch the hook before you know the lyrics. A few listens later, you know the chorus. Eventually, a verse that was mostly mumbling starts coming together.
You had a reason to return before you knew every word. Each listen added to something that already felt familiar.
That experience helps explain our starting point for learning. You have enough of the topic in your head to follow it, and gaps you want to fill. The Vibe State combines that readiness with the appetite to learn more.
You get the gist. Now you want the rest.
A topic starts to take shape in your head. You can see how parts of it connect, but there are pieces missing. You want to know what goes there.
That is the kind of curiosity we want learning to start with. The next explanation answers something you are already wondering about. You have a structure to connect it to, which can help you grasp the idea and remember it later.
In The Primed Brain, Rashmi R Padhy describes three learning states: Unprimed, Primed and Defended. Vidyaa AI applies that framework through technology, with the aim of helping learners reach a Primed, or Vibe, State.
When a subject puts you on guard
For some learners, a subject brings back the fear of getting it wrong before they even begin. Their attention goes towards the pressure around learning, and taking in or recalling the material can become harder.
The Primed Brain calls this the Defended state. Research into helping learners move from Defended towards Primed is an ongoing part of our work.
From the approach to the apps
Vibe English · Live
Learn ideas worth knowing and improve your English along the way. AI-personalised micro-reads present ideas at your English level, with quizzes to help you practise.
Vibe Learning · Coming soon
Our upcoming academic app will bring the same approach to the subjects you study, helping you find a way into a topic and build understanding from there.
The thinking began with The Primed Brain
Rashmi R Padhy, founder of Vidyaa, explores three learning states in his book: Unprimed, Primed and Defended.
His independent book is the starting point for Vidyaa. The company takes its thinking into technology and applications for learning, with the Vibe State at the centre of the approach.
Understanding Vidyaa
What does Vidyaa do?
Vidyaa develops learning technology based on the framework in The Primed Brain. Through Vidyaa AI and our apps, we work on helping learners connect with a topic and build understanding.
What is the Vibe State?
It is our name for the Primed learning state. You have a mental structure for the topic and can see gaps you want to fill. You are ready to learn and hungry to understand more.
Is Vidyaa AI an app I download?
Vidyaa AI is the approach and technology behind our learning applications. You experience it through apps such as Vibe English.
Is Vidyaa only for learning English?
Our purpose covers learning more broadly. Vibe English is the first live application. Vibe Learning is the upcoming application for academics.
How is the book connected?
The Primed Brain is an independent book by Vidyaa’s founder, Rashmi R Padhy. Its learning framework inspired the company and the approach behind our apps.
